Zuiderzee Museum - NIJVER|heden
For the exhibition NIJVER|heden: Industrious Artefacts, the evolution of crafts we've been working on the signage and a booklet. The show runs from May 27th 2011 - February 12th 2012 at the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen.

For the design the Scratched Letter from 2003 was revived. We constructed the main titles of the show from yarn on wood.

Booklet / laser print on paper
For the booklet we made the digital letter into a working typeface with a lot of weights and alternates.

Scratched Letter - version 2.0 / Signage Sketches
In 2003 I graduated with the Scratched Letter. We are currently trying to revive the digitally drawn typeface in an analogue way with yarn to use for exhibition signage.

Cover
I was happily surprised to find Items magazine in my mailbox this morning. I had no clue that my sketch made it to the cover.

Here you can see the sketches I made trying out my new Pentel Japan Chinese Kanji GFKP Fude Brush Pen.

Lace Doodle - Table Sheet
Currently filling a 70 x 100 cm sheet with a fine liner drawing. It's hard to keep up with the symmetry when the shape gets this big and the drawing sure has its stages of ugliness. But after drawing for a week, stopping is just not an option...

Lace Doodle
Can't seem to stop drawing as I did for Doily Type.

It's like ice skating on paper with my new set Rotring Tikky Graphic - pigmented ink - fine liners (0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm) on slippery Atlanta 80 grs coated paper. Original drawing size about 28 x 28 cm.
